The ACOS (Advanced Chemical Oxidation Systems) Reactor, which uses a propriatary sub-critical oxidation process that reduces and destroys the hazardous contaminants in classified waste streams. ACOS can process very difficult contaminants at levels up to 3000mg/L, allowing the declassification of various hazardous wastes, with lower costs of treatment and disposal. The ACOS process has been successfully tested on real customer wastes at bench scale, and a 10 gpm trailer-mounted unit has been designed and is ready for construction. ERTH has established several potential customer locations on industry sites for field testing of the prototype. The ACOS Reactor is the first ERTH reactor to be commercialized and will be an initial step in the development of the SCWO Reactor by providing valuable data to its development.
The SCWO (Supercritical Water Oxidation) Reactor, which uses a supercritical oxidation process that destroys very problematic hazardous wastes. In the supercritical water oxidation process, organics are quickly oxidized to carbon dioxide, water and ash with destruction of organic wates of over 99.9%. This unique reactor is in the preliminary stages of design and development.
